Disposal of old furniture

Harringay Furniture are registered with the Environment Agency as a licenced waste carrier. The Certificate of Registration is issued under the Control of Pollution Act 1989.

This certificate means that we are legally allowed to carry and dump old furniture, all in accordance with the above Act.

However, as we are removing and dumping waste in a responsible manner, it does mean that there is a considerable cost involved, which we have to pass on to you, our clients.

We reserve the right to charge any reasonable amount for taking and dumping old furniture and this amount may vary on the size and weight of the items - along with other factors such as difficulty in removal from building etc.

The following, however is a guide to the likely costs:

Sofa £20 , Three piece suite £30 , Double bed complete £15 , Single bed complete £10 , Double mattress £10 , Single mattress £5, Wardrobe £15 , Chest of drawers £10 , Dining table and 4 chairs £15.
